Proverbs 4:25 - 27
What happened to the beauty
Where has it gone?
The promise of good things in the air
In the voice of the wind.
The mirage of a life on the horizon
Just beyond the line of reality
Why is lightness now so heavy
And carrying a sombre veil
That spans as far as an eye can see?
The sea once deep blue
Now clothed in soiled aquamarine with no lustre no life?
Where shall I lay my head to rest
And set my foot to not sway
so wildly like sorrowful winds
scattering the clouds astray!
Enough says He Enough!
Dust off your crown
Wait in my shade
Drink living water only I can supply
I know you.
I made you.
I set you aside.
Not to be forgotten but to
Be one of a kind
The kind that carries my Image around
Whose steps I lay out and in whose heart I abound
The beauty is everywhere - just look around
I made you to flourish
To shine like a light
To blot out the darkness and get it out of sight
To nourish the hungry and clothe the weak
To worship me always
To stand on my rock
The beauty is here
It soars like a bird
Abundance is raring ready to bolt
Just lift up your eyes
And look into Mine
Don't doubt don't despair
Don't you see My grace
That rises before you like a mighty wave?
I'm here all along
Don't you doubt little child!
The ocean is roaring
Bright blue and wild
I made it and you cannot tame it
I set the earth and made it turn
I AM
yes I AM
I AM WHO I AM
I AM
Early in 2026 I was sitting by the ocean, feeling overwhelmed. The weather was grey, the ocean was grey and my mood was dark. I started writing on my mobile, writing my lamentations. Then suddenly the word "ENOUGH" roared in my head and the rest of the words just came so fast that my fingers could hardly keep up. By the time I typed the final "I AM" the words stopped coming and peace and gratitude covered me. My circumstances remained but God was right there in the midst of it all, letting me know just who He is, like He did with Job.
